Configuration carte WINTV Express sous Linux.

Ma configuration sous linux pour une carte TV WinTV Express, en fait une Hauppauge BT878 Tuner Philips Pal/Secam FM1216ME.

Après pas mal de galère, j’ai fini par la faire fonctionner sous linux, soit je ne détectais rien, soit uniquement France 3, à n’y rien comprendre. Sur un post, je trouvais un commentaire d’un internaute qui disait qu’il devait démarrer windows et K!tv et ensuite rebooter sous linux pour que la carte soit détectée.

J’ai fait la manip, mais toujours rien, j’ai alors lancé wintv2000, puis reboot sous Mandriva Move et la bingo !!! La carte détecte tous les canaux. il semble bien que K!tv bloquait la carte TV.

Dans /etc/modules

options bttv radio=0 tuner=38 gbuffers=4

Lancement de la détection des chaines avec tvtime.

Le résultat est écrit sous forme XML dans le home directory: .tvtime/stationlist.xml
